Reader Response

Active reading is more than absorbing information; it is a conversation in which the reader responds to the text by commenting, asking questions, rereading, and thinking about the author's ideas. To ensure that you engage the reading assignments, you will type a one-page response for each set of readings. This should also prepare you to have your own thoughts to contribute to the discussion. You also may occassionally choose to write a second response to a topic after we have talked about it in class.
